Workshop: Collage Your Story
Artists are the storytellers and culture bearers. They use the elements of art to reflect on the events of their time and express their emotions surrounding it. In the first part of this workshop, learn the basics of collage. Choose a moment from your life to explore through collage. Learn more about collage techniques. Color is one of the key elements of art. Artists use color theory to evoke mood and emotion. In the second installment of this workshop, you will learn more about how. Reflect on the emotions surrounding a moment from your life. Also learn a bit about color theory, primary & secondary colors, warm & cool colors and more! No story is complete without words. Learn several ways to incorporate a unique font or poetry or phrases cut from a magazine into your collage. We will use some basic fonts that you can mix and match to put the finishing touches on any collage. Workshop fee includes a college kit to take home and hot tea. CollageArt is a Process Kit
Purchase additional kits so you can share collage with a friend. Each kit includes EVERYTHING you need to collage at home - including scissors, two types of adhesive and reclaimed supplies to design 30-40 collages at home.
